Abstract
A study was conducted to perform numerical investigation of an airfoil/rotating-slotted-cylinder (RSC) based flutter exciter. The complicated unsteady flow around the excitation system was simulated by solving unsteady Navier?Stokes equations using an in-house code, and the performance property of the system was investigated in detail. The unsteady Navier?Stokes equations were discretized by the center finite volume method on the inertial coordinate system for the investigations.
