Abstract
On the basis of investigating the propagation mechanism of detonation wave produced in combustion of mixing gas, the numerical simulation on propagation process of detonation wave in detonation combustion chamber was made by applying characteristic method. This study provides theoretical base for analyses of operating principle and calculation of performance as well as experimental investigation of pulsed detonation engine.
