Abstract

To implement the jet driving rotor which jets at the rotor-tip, the flows inside the conductive pipe were numerically simulated, and the effect of the flows inside the conductive pipe by outlet shape was analyzed. The influences of different inlet pressures and different outlet shapes were compared, the mass flow rate and outlet velocity of the conductive pipe were analyzed, and then the effect of the turning moment was gained through integrative analysis. Thus, the validity of the jet driving rotor was confirmed, and an applicable optimized design method was found out to minimize the total loss of the conductive pipe.
