Abstract
The character of selected harmonic elimination pulse width modulation (SHEPWM) and its development are summarized after expounding basis principle. The technique of SHEPWM which uses sampling regulation strategy is analyzed. A novel space voltage vector SHEPWM (SV-SHEPWM) method is studied, and the operation times of the selected basic vectors be calculated. The method achieved the SHEPWM pulse formed by the basic space voltage vectors, and avoided calculation of complex algorithm of switch angle nonlinear transcendental equations. The Matlab simulation and digital signal processor (DSP) experiment are performed through different voltage harmonic elimination degree and output frequency. The results of simulation and experiment are agreed with the theory analysis, and validate the feasibility of this technique.
