Abstract

Experiments have been done to investigate the flow pressure drop and the friction coefficient of the kerosene (RP-3) in micro tube. The result shows that the friction coefficient decreases with the increasing of the Reynolds number, the friction coefficient in micro tube is larger than in traditional channels; in the small tube, the flow transition from laminar to turbulent occur at the critical Reynolds number which is lower than the traditional critical Reynolds number 2300 in conventional ducts.
