Abstract
Since the dead zone phenomenon occurs in electro-hydraulic servo system, the acceleration output of the system corresponding to a sinusoidal input contains higher harmonics besides the fundamental input, which causes harmonic distortion of the acceleration signal. To get the desired acceleration signal of the system, based on dead zone compensation method and adaptive noise canceling theory, nonlinear compensation control schemes are presented here to cancel the harmonics. Simulation results performed with a hydraulic servo system demonstrate the efficiency and validity of the proposed control scheme.
