New hybrid law based on fuzzy logic

Abstract

On the basis of introduction of interference zone of guidance and the favorable guidance point for torpedo, the hybrid guidance law based on fuzzy logic was proposed to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional guidance law. The switching between the present bearing guidance and the non-interference guidance could be implemented by two sets of language variables for error signals and multi-objective rule bases, and the time-variant gain unit is added to make the guidance law adaptive. The simulation results have shown that the hybrid guidance law can ensure that the torpedo is always outside the interference zone and the favorable guidance point can be gradually turned to the bearing line of target.
