Abstract

The outdoor measurement of the polarimatic bidirectional reflectance distribution function (pBRDF) and the validation of the models are mainly introduced and then the relationship between the experimental values and the degrees of angles of observation is analyzed in detail. The given conditions of pBRDF intense component are modeled through the geometry of backgrounds and the experimental results using the linear empirical models. And for modeling of DoP component, the polynomial is proposed through analyzing the experimental data, and then the predicated values are compared with the experimental values. Excellent agreement between the measured and the predicated is demonstrated. Therefore the models adopted in this paper could take place the experiment to get the pBRDF of arbitrary parameters for further study on some case.
