Modelling and performance analysis of integrated avionics bus system

Abstract

In the designing process of integrated avionics system, the performance indexes of bus system are closely related to the indexes of the whole system, therefore, the study on the bus system is crucial. The paper offers a set of models and relevant algorithms which are used to evaluate integrated avionics bus system with fault tolerance based on deterministic and stochastic Petri nets (DSPN). The solving of the models gives two important performance indexes-bus load and delay time. and the analysis of performance curve can provide an important theoretical basis for the design and improvement of the system.
