Abstract

Multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) is used to solute the combined field integral equation (CFIE) and the RWG basis function is chosen. The single station RCS (radar cross section) of the cone-sphere with slot, 3-face angle reflector and the diamond shape model are calculated. The results are in agreement with experimental ones. Base on that, the single station RCS of the measured F-22 model is calculated. The scales of calculation and storage reach O(NlogN) and O(N). The method is suitable for calculating and analyzing RCS of the 3D complex object with the spire and slender surface, such as the shape of the fighter.
