Abstract

(Sr0.9Ba0.1)La4Ti4O15+xwt%Nd2O3(0≤x≤8, BSN) ceramics were prepared by the conventional solid state processing method, the microstructure and microwave dielectric properties of BSN ceramics were investigated. The results show that adding Nd2O3 into BSN ceramics would lower the sintering temperature, a few of La2TiO5 phase was also observed in the ceramics besides SrLa4Ti4O15. With increasing the content of Nd2O3, the dielectric constant and the temperature coefficient of resonance frequency changed little, but the value of Q×f increases obviously. (Sr0.9Ba0.1)La4Ti4O15+4%Nd2O3 ceramic shows the optimal dielectric properties of εr=43.2, Q×f=42015 GHz (6.024 GHz), τf=-9.6 μ℃-1.
