Abstract

This paper studies the problem of tracking control for networked control system with uncertain time delays and packet dropouts by using active time-varying sampling period method. Gridding approach is introduced to transform the time-varying system into a discrete switched system with finite switching rules. Sufficient conditions for tracking of prescribed reference model over imperfect network are given. The reliable tracking control law obtained by the solution of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) guarantees the tracking performance of networked control system. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy for NCS tracking controller design.
