Abstract

For the optic-electric detecting target cannot work with low illumination or at night, the infrared detection technology was proposed to design its detection optical system and improve its detection performance. According to principles of thermal radiation and characteristics of heat exchange when projectile was flying with high velocity, the nodal network theory was used to set up the equation of thermal radiation of projectile surface, and analyze the infrared radiation characteristics of high velocity projectile in the detection screen. The differential method was adopted to calculate the infrared radiation of projectile in the screen. The relationship between the output signal and the radiation flux of projectile was set up by the detection optical system. The length and function distance of projectile were combined to analyze the variety of output signal in different thick screens and the infrared radiation of projectile with different velocities and diameters.
