Abstract

When the missile is too close to the target, the target will fill the whole view field of the seeker. At this time, the seeker can not provide the accurate position and movement of the target, which means the missile enters the seeker blind range. Therefore, it is necessary to pre-defined the corresponding blind range law for the seeker. Aiming at the blind range of guidance, this paper presents three blind range guidance policies for the seeker, i.e. keeping angle, angular rate and angular acceleration of the line of sight angle respectively. And the conventional maneuver models of target and linear model of the missile with blind range are established. Then, the influence of the blind range guidance policy on the guidance accuracy of the missile under different conditions is studied by the adjoint method.
