Abstract
An experimental investigation of the strain rate relativity of φ200 mm composite case was conducted. Quasi-static status and dynamic status of 0.105 s-1 strain rate were tested respectively. A pulse-pressure generator and external-pressure loading equipment designed by the 4th Academy of CASC which can load and then destroy the specimen within 10~200 ms were used in the dynamic loading process. The results show that composite case exhibits obvious strain rate relativity. Compared with the quasi-static status, the destroyed external-pressure of the φ200 mm composite case raised about 1.55 times when the strain rate was 0.105 s-1.
