Abstract

Considering the influence of manufacturing and aerodynamic performance, the fillet is defined using dual-parameters (radius and minimum angle) and the research has been done to get the influence of fillet on transonic rotor performance based on Rotor37. The research firstly analysis the influence of fillet parameters on blade geometry and then shows the influence of different fillet parameters on aerodynamic performance by comparing the differences in overall performance and intern flow field. The effect rules of fillet parameters on aerodynamic performance shows the fillet radius is the main factor in terms of rotor performance compared to minimum angle. The fillet changes the distribution of horseshoe vortex near root of blade and the scale and strength of outlet passage vortex is altered. Besides, the fillet changes the distribution of pressure near root of blade and thickened the boundary layer near the leading edge, resulting in the degradation of rotor performance and capacity of work.
