Guidance and control system of unpowered vehicle

Abstract

In this paper, a novel complete model of unpowered vehicle was proposed, in which the wind effects are taken into consideration, the wind is modeled as constant velocity and constant acceleration. Based on the variable structure control (VSC) theory, the VSC guidance was presented, in conjunction with the VSC attitude control law, the simulation based on the six-degree-of-freedom model has been performed to verify the performance of the designed guidance and control laws, the simulation results demonstrate that it's valid and it's of practical value.
