GA optimal arrangement of error sensors in free-acoustic field AANC

Abstract

The arrangement of error sensors in the free field has a direct bearing on effect of sound attenuation of the adaptive active noise control (AANC) system. The genetic algorithm (GA) was used to study the arrangement of error sensors and the optimal arrangement could be obtained, which is difficult for the traditional gradient search algorithm. The simulation results have shown that the optimal location of the error sensors searched by GA algorithm is in agreement with those of theoretical analysis.
