Fuzzy method for missile target selection

Abstract

To avoid deficiencies of the traditional weighting comprehensive evaluation method in weighting values and index calculation, the modified fuzzy clustering algorithm and fuzzy pattern recognition algorithm are presented to evaluate the relative importance of different targets in the missile attack target selection. The targets to be attacked are sampled for clustering, and several standard targets are used as clustering centers. Each sample is classified into a certain type according to the distance between the sample and some clustering center. The results of clustering are used as the criterion for target selection. The simulation result has shown that the algorithm is effective.
