Abstract

Research on interface load, strength and stiffness characteristics of the cargo-door barrier net under impact loading is useful to determine the weak parts and dangerous interface of the webbing. This paper presents finite element modeling techniques for the cargo-door barrier net use MSC. Patran and adopt iterative method in the model to simulation the material nonlinear effects based on test stiffness data of webbing, and consider the net geometry nonlinear in the model. To analysis the interface load, webbing axial force and net deformed shape under load of forward 3.0 g, after 1.5g and lateral 1.5 g of the cargo-door barrier net, the MSC. Nastran nonlinear module is used. In conclusion, the maximum interface load and the weakness parts of the webbing is revealed and assured, to select material of the webbing, layout the cargo-door barrier net, design and check the webbing and its connection to the structural.
