Abstract

The constitutive relationship of TA15 alloy in high temperature deformation has been established according to the isothermal compression results at deformation temperature of 800-1050°C, strain rate of 0.01-70 s-1. With the help of the FE method, the distributions of equivalent strain, equivalent stress, equivalent strain rate and temperature rise during the isothermal extrusion of TA15 alloy under different processing conditions have been studied. The simulation results show that the punch velocity has significant effects on the equivalent stress, temperature rise and load of billet.
