Abstract

According to the structure features of turbine casing, an experimental device which is used to study on local rub-impact fault was designed. When the high and low rotors are counter-rotating , by using the counter-rotating dual-rotor experimental apparatus as platform, the vibration characteristics excited by high rotor local rub-impact fault and low rotor local rub-impact fault were studied through the experiment. The experimental results show that when local rub-impact fault occurs on counter-rotating dual-rotor, there will be high harmonics, low harmonics and combined frequencies in the vibration signal of stator. And the position of the local rub-impact fault can be defined by analyzing the combined frequencies.
