Abstract

The tests on fatigue crack growth of MDYB-3 PMMA (polyethylene Methacrylate) are carried out in the present work. The fatigue crack growth behavior of most polymers is sensitive to temperature. In this study, the fatigue crack growth rate data are obtained by test at temperature range -50°C-90°C and frequency at 1 Hz. Applying the linear elastic fracture mechanics to the experiment data of PMMA, the dependency of fatigue crack growth behavior on temperature is revealed.
