Abstract

Based on double-pulse exciting method of the T-burner, the pressure coupled response of two kinds of aluminized composite propellant were contrasted. Four motor pressure experiments under 7 MPa condition were succesfully conducted. The different decay constant and grow constants about the two kinds of propellants were obtained. The result shows that the size distribution of AP particles in the propellant are different and make the pressure coupled response of the two samples different. The more small AP particle size in the propellant is, the more unstable it is. This result of the experiments is in conformity with the full-scale testing. The condensed phase product behaviors of two kinds of propellants in the T-burner exhibit great difference.
