Abstract

Based on microscopic phase-field model, atomic morphology evolution of the precipitated phases through cycle heat treatment in the Ni75AlxV25-x alloy were studied compared with the single-stage aging. The temperature takes greater effect upon the variation of solubility of DO22 phase than that of Ll2 phase. The coarse particles of Ll2 phases are broken up through the cycle heat treatment into the fine grains, most of the Ll2 phases spheroidized. Furthermore, the cause of the breaking up and spheroidizing has been discussed.
