Abstract

Software requirement engineering is a curriculum that stresses not only basic theories but also lots of practice. Traditional teaching methods have been unsuitable for the requirements of the course. This paper proposes a cases-based teaching reform, which employs various teaching methods and elements, such as case-based teaching design, multi-media teaching design and group-based discussion. The teaching reform connects the theory and the practice closely. It motivates the students' enthusiasm and thrust students' learning efficiency greatly.
