Abstract

The viscosity change of phosphate/furfural acetone resin curing system at room temperature was characterized by viscometer. The curing process was tested by TEA/SDTA analyzer to study the effects of curing agent content and heating rate on curing reaction. Meanwhile samples were prepared by curing process to verify the results. The results show that viscosity of the system increases with curing time and curing system with the phosphorus acid curing agent content of 6.67% has lower mass loss and more compact surface. The heating rate of 2 k/min is beneficial to curing process. Based on the conclusion, Malek isoconversional method was used to determine the kinetic parameters and establish kinetic model of curing reaction.
