Abstract

Dempster-Shafer evidence theory is widely applied to the fields of information fusion. To suppress the counterintuitive results generated in the combination of high conflicting bodies of evidence, a modified evidence combination approach is proposed. Uncertainty degree is used to generate the weights, which are used to modify the bodies of evidence before the combination based on the Dempster's rule. Numerical examples show the efficiency and rationality of the proposed approach.
