Abstract

It is of great importance to diagnose and control combustion process in real time. The principle of diode laser absorption spectroscopy (DLAS) applied to the combustion measurement of multi-species and multi-parameters is first briefly introduced. Then, by a practicable example, the method of adaptive and real-time control on combustion by using DLAS and its effect are described. The results show that DLAS provides a rapid, flexible, precise and effective means for fundamental combustion research and combustion monitoring.
