Abstract

Considering the relationship between the extrinsic information of the decoder and the signal-to-noise ratio, a blind estimation algorithm was proposed based on the differential logarithm cross entrophy. The simulation results show that the proposed blind estimation algorithm can greatly decrease the complexity of the channel estimator with little degradation of the performance. At last, the error performance of the algorithm was analyzed. From the deduction, it is concluded that the estimated SNR is credible for its extremely low error decision probability.
