Abstract

Because the traditional methods of measuring the energy spectrum adopt the single-channel and multiple-channels which results in needing certain distinguish time and cannot solve the problem of superimposed effect of near pluses, a new method adopting the inverse filter to measure energy spectrum is proposed. This method regards the detector system as a linear system that can be described by a transfer function. The output of the detector system is sampled to construct the discrete inverse system of the detector system. So the energy and time of the original incident particles can be obtained after the sampling signal gets through the inverse system. Simulation result shows that using this method can test not only the energy of the incident rays, but also the incident time, which overcomes the defects of the traditional methods.
