Abstract

The strength reliability and parameter sensitivity of a missile cabin structure are investigated. In order to check strength of the missile cabin structure, stress distribution is analyzed by nonlinear contact finite element method. Owing to machining deviation and design tolerance, the missile cabin structure is always with some uncertain factors. The bolt location and thickness of cabin are expressed as random variables. Based on the certainty analysis method, the strength reliability and sensitivity of the missile cabin structure are analyzed by the fourth moment method. The reliability analysis shows that the strength failure probability of missile cabin structure is 1.18×10 -3 and the results of sensitivity analysis show that the thickness of cabin is a main factor which affects the strength reliability of cabin structure.
