Abstract

Vibration equations of each axis are built, and then are synthesized to form lateral-torsional coupling vibration equation of multi-parallel gear-rotor system. Through numerical calculation, the natural modes and dynamic response of the system can be acquired. The natural frequencies, modes and passive vibration response of an three parallel gear reducer system are analyzed. The results show that the vibration characteristics of multi-parallel gear-rotor system are different from that of an isolated axial rotor. The vibration of multi-parallel gear-rotor system is lateral-torsional coupling vibration between axes, and many new modes are derived. The unbalanced mass on each axis will arouse the vibration response of the whole system.
