An effective evaluation of credibility of air data computer simulation system

Abstract

Sections 1, 2 and 3 of the full paper explain what we believe to be an effective credibility evaluation method. The core of section 2 is that, using the VV & A (Verification, Validation and Accreditation) method, we divide the hierarchy of an air data computer simulation system, work out its credibility evaluation flow chart, whose block diagram is shown in Fig. 3, and establishes its credibility model as given in Fig. 4. The core of section 3 consists of: (1) we improve the traditional credibility calculation formula and propose our new credibility calculation formula as given by eq. (3), which utilizes the similarity theory to evaluate the credibility of the air data computer simulation system and can do so effectively; (2) we calculate the credibility values of the air data computer simulation system for a certain airplane and examine the changes in its credibility; the simulation results, given in Table 2, and the calculation results, given in Tables 3 and 4, and their analysis show preliminarily that, compared with the traditional credibility evaluation method, our method can effectively evaluate the credibility of the air data computer simulation system.
