Abstract

The mechanisms to maintain redundancy are essential to distributed data storage in Unattended Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs). To address this challenge, we propose a self-repairable and secure data distribution scheme in this paper. We take the advantages of both key evolution and Self- Repairing Codes (SRC) to guarantee Forward Secrecy (FSe) and probability Backward Secrecy (BSe) for repairing, during the period of redundancy maintenance. To improve the security level, different strategies are adopted for repairing. Detailed analysis show the superiority of the proposed scheme in comparison with traditional Erasure Codes (EC) based scheme in UWSNs.
