N2 - To address the difficulty of conducting in-depth analyses of how Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are vulnerable to abnormal attacks, a UAV cyber traffic playback system (UCTPS) based on the SDN software defined network architecture is proposed. The non-interventionability problem of UAV communication security testing is transformed into a node traffic playback problem by the establishment of an SDN-based UAV cyber model, and the system is used to select the appropriate routing node to reproduce the background traffic of the UAV cyber. Through the SDN controller, the system obtains cyber link status information such as bandwidth, delay, and data stream size. To simulate the cyber, the UAV cyber topology is built using the mininet simulation platform, and UCTPS is added to the OpenDaylight (ODL) controller. The results show that the playback system reproduces the UAV cyber's background traffic. When compared to traditional cyber architecture, the UCTPA method increased cyber resource utilization rate by about 12%, resulting in cyber optimization. The proposed UCTPA method offers a novel solution to the problem of testing and analyzing UAV communication security.
