Abstract

A one-dimensional analysis model of lubricating system of a wind power gearbox (WPG) is presented to analyze the flow distribution characteristics. The lubricating characteristics at various lubricating points are obtained. The simulation analysis is verified by the experimental results. To analyze the bearing lubricating characteristics of WPG, a fluid-structure coupled simulation model based is presented, which can consider the air-oil two-phase flow (AOTPF) in the internal bearing. Note that the bearing speed can greatly affect the lubricating characteristics of bearings in the WPG. The lubricating oil distribution of internal bearing is uneven during the lubricating process. Due to the centrifugal force, the motion of lubricating oil is splashed outward. This work is helpful for improving the lubrication efficiency of WPG.
