Abstract
In order to investigate the effects of the bleed positions on the stability of isolated rotor of subsonic compressor, three schemes of self-circulating casing treatment with different bleed positions on the tip of the blade are studied by numerical simulation. The results show that the flow margins obtained from the three positions are 5.43%, 22.77% and 18.23% respectively when the bleed positions change along axial on the tip of blade. The stability expansion capacity shows a trend of strengthening first and then weakening. The closer the blade tip bleed position is to the core of the low-speed blockage zone, the stronger the stability expansion capacity is. Through the analysis of the blade tip flow field after self-circulating casing treatment, it can be seen that the stabilization mechanism of the self-circulating casing treatment is to improve the flow condition by sucking the low-speed blockage fluid on the tip of the blade and restraining the tip leakage flow, so as to achieve the purpose of stabilization.
