Weighted combination of conflict evidence based on correlation coefficient

摘要

The Dempster-Shafer (D-S) evidence theory is widely used in many fields of information fusion. However, erroneous results may be obtained by the classical Dempster combination rule when collected evidences are highly in conflict with each other. Thus a new algorithm for the weight is proposed to solve the combinatorial problem of conflict evidence. In order to modify the combination evidence body, we use correlation coefficient as the variable which can indicate the conflict between evidence and then the weights are obtained through Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Example analysis shows that the proposed algorithm is reasonable and effective, which can accelerate convergence speed and reduce the risk of decision making.
