摘要
The thermal shock damage of a three-dimensional Hi-Nicalon/SiC composite was performed using water quenched method. It was found that the thermal shock damage difference of 3D C/SiC and SiC/SiC was directly related to material's mechanical and thermal properties. The characteristics of thermal shock damage in fiber-reinforced composites were directly affected by woven structure of the fiber-preforms. The results indicated that the thermal shock damage of the composite was anisotropic. The three-dimension difference and braid structure of the preform caused the anisotropy in thermal shock resistance of the SiC/SiC composite.
