摘要
The theoretical and experimental studies on the characteristic morphology of benzophenone (BP) crystal were carried out. The experimental morphology of BP crystal was enclosed by (110), (101), (111), (011), (021), (010) and (001) faces of which (021), (010) and (001) faces were not predicted by the morphological theory of crystal growth. This difference was due to the neglect of the waveness of face net. The studies show that BP crystal grown from its undercooled melt could reflect its characteristic morphology.
