摘要
Tensile properties and fracture mechanism of directionally solidified Cu-Cr in-situ composites were studied, and the influence of solidification rates on the properties and the fracture morphology were analysed. It is shown that Cu-Cr in-situ composites possess superior tensile properties. With the increase of the solidification rates, the tensile strength increases. The fracture morphology shows that the fibre-like eutectic as reinforce phase are chief undertaker of stress , and the fracture of the eutectic is the critical factor for the fracture of Cu-Cr in-situ composites.
