N2 - In view of the uneven precipitation and large size of B2-CuZr phase in Cu-Zr-Al-Sn amorphous composites, Ta was added to the System, and heterogeneous nucleation and uniform dispersion of £2-CuZr phase was pro-moted through precipitation of Ta phase with high melting point, to obtain multi-phase reinforced CuZr-based amorphous composites. The evolution law of microstructure and properties of the composites with different Ta Contents was systematically investigated. The results indicate that the introduced Ta-rich phase acts as an effective heterogeneous nucleation site for B2-CuZr phase, and regulate the precipitation amount, dimension and distribution of B2-CuZr phase, to generate multi-phase reinforcing structure to effectively enhance mechanical properties. With the increase of Ta content, the yield strength is decreased gradually, and plastic deformation ability is increased firstly and then decreased. The tensile strength and plastic strain of [(Cuo.5Zr05)0925Al007Sn0005] 97Ta5 amorphous composite with optimal Performance reach 2 214 MPa and 4.3%, respectively.
