T1 - Synthesis of hyperbranched polycarbosilane-g-cyclodextrin polymer brushes and their controlled drugs release behavior

N2 - Choosing hyperbranched polycarbosilane with -Cl groups as macroinitiator, DMA-co-GMA-EDA-β-CD copolymer was synthesized via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), and characterized by the nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum (1H-NMR and 13C-NMR). Thermo- and pH sensitivities of hyperbranched polycarbosilane-g-cyclodextrin polymer brushes were investigated via particle size analyses, UV spectroscopy. The results indicate that the hyperbranched polymers exhibit marked thermo- and pH- sensitivities. Using chlorambucil (CLB) and dicalondazolic acid (DICA) as double model drugs, the controlled drugs release behavior of the different polymers was studied. The results show that the rate of the drug release can be effectively controlled by pH value.
