摘要
The variations in the tribological properties of Kevlar fabric with various conditions (load, sliding speed and heat treatment) were studied by using a ring-on-block tester. The friction coefficient of the fabric sliding against AISI1045 steel decreases with the increase of load, and the wear scar width increases obviously. After heat treatment at 250 °C the wear of the fabric increases to some extent. The wear debris entrapped in the gap among the fibers of the fabric restrains further wear.
