摘要

Laser bending process of titanium alloy sheets which are difficult to be deformed at normal temperature was carried out. The effects of process parameters and geometry of sheets on the bending angle of sheets were studied. The optimum process parameters for laser bending of titanium alloy sheets were obtained as 1.0-1.2 kW for laser power, 2-3 m/min for scanning velocity and 6-7 mm for laser spot diameter. The bending angle after one scanning decreases with the increase of thickness of sheet and increases with the increase of width of sheet. The bending angle after first scan is in proportion to the number of laser scans. Laser bending is a flexible manufacturing process without external force and die being induced, and it is very useful for the forming of hard deformed and brittle material due to its character of accumulative little deformation.
