title = "Study on high cycle fatigue behavior and fracture surface of TA15 alloy",
abstract = "The high cycle fatigue (HCF) behavior and fracture surface of TA15 alloy bar with 18mm in diameter was studied in this paper. The results showed that the effects of oxygen content on HCF strength of TA15 alloy is limit. However f the microstructure has remarkable effect on HCF strength of TA15 alloy. The HCF strength of TA15 alloy bar will be improved about 25% when primary a phase content increases from 15 %- 20% to 33%-40%. The fracture surfaces of samples were investigated by SEM. The work indicated that the fatigue crack originated from the surface of the sample. There are a large number of fatigue brightness lines and secondary cracks in fracture crack propagation zone , and a lot of typical dimples in fracture zone. The crack propagation zone plays a key role in effect of microstructure on fatigue property. In fracture crack propagation zone t the secondary cracks & amount of the sample with equiaxed microstructure is larger than the sample with duplex microstructure. Which lead to crack deflection , effectively decrease the crack propagating rate and improve the fatigue strength.",
