N2 - In structural multiple damage localization domain, a lot of methods are proposed to locate the damage. However, there are shortcomings in these works. For example, some damage detection methods are not sensitive or just appropriate for detecting single damage site. In order to obtain more accurate and flexible inference, a new approach is proposed in this paper. The new approach uses the Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence to combine two information sources and then uses the ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator to select out the most likely damage. The numerical example shows the proposed method is effective to detect the damage accurately and select out the damage according to the requirements.
