摘要

Bionic poly(tetrafluoroethylene)/poly(phenylene sulfide) (PTFE/PPS) superhydrophohic coatings with long-term stability, high cohesional strength, and resistance to temperature change was prepared by a simple, inexpensive, and conventional curing process. A superhydrophobic surface with a porous network, micrometer-nanometer-scale binary structure (MNBS) roughness, and the lowest surface energy hydrophobic groups (-CF3) was fabricated using commercially available PTFE and PPS on stainless steel and engineering materials. The stainless steel block was polished with 500# and 900# sandpaper in turn, and then cleaned with acetone in an ultrasonic bath for 5 mm. Then the PPS binder was mixed into the PTFE emulsion and dispersed for 10 min. which allowed the formation of coating precursors. It was found that the coating surfaces did not adsorb acid, base, or salt contamination particles. In addition, the color and microstructural morphology of the coating surfaces did not change.
