摘要
High-speed camera and pressure transducers were used to study the phenomenon of detonation combustion of acetylene/air mixture in millimeter-scale tube. The peak pressure of detonation wave in 10 mm stainless steel tube was about 2.7 MPa with the velocity of 1428.6 m/s. Three types of flames were observed in the transparent tube: oscillating flame, deflagration flame and detonation flame. The velocity of detonation wave in the transparent tube was 1450 m/s. The results show that fully-developed detonation waves of acetylene/air mixture can be formed in both stainless steel and transparent millimeter-scale tubes.
